Join us on Saturday, August 15 for the 1st DRAGONS on the LAKE Dragon Boat Festival on Lily Lake in the beautiful Rockwood Park, Saint John, New Brunswick! Funds raised go to support the outreach programs at Lily Lake Pavilion and the Lancaster Branch #69 Royal Canadian Legion.
7:00 – 8:00am – Team, Vendor and Volunteer arrival/set up at Pavilion.
8:00 – One-Way traffic through Rockwood Park commences.
8:00am – 4:00pm – Aquila Tours – Public Trolley service from Dunlop Lane to Lily Lake Pavilion.
9:00am – 4:00pm – Races Start! Interpretation Centre for Kids and Family Games and Activities! Bouncy Castles! Human Bowing with Inside Out! Face Painting courtesy of The Blue Pelican! Benny Bubbles! All free of charge to the public!
9:00am – 4:00pm – Vendor Market Opens.
12:00pm – Opening Ceremonies, Mayoral Address and Cultural Event with the Chinese Cultural Association.
1:00 & 3:00 pm – Entertainment: Farraige – Celtic and Maritime Music at the Interpretation Centre
4:00 pm (approx) – Closing Ceremonies
